Vamsita, being devoid of jnana, knowledge.

But despite this great opportunity, if 1 does not develop knowledge and practical application of knowledge through the help of a spiritual master in the shastras, in other words, if 1 misuses this opportunity, In his next life he is surely born in a species of non-moving living entities.

Non-moving living entities include hills, mountains, trees, plants, etc.

This stage of life is called puññātāṁ or mukhyatām, namely making all activities 0.

Philosophers who support stopping all activities are called shunyati.

By nature's own way, our activities will be gradually diverted to devotional service.

But there are philosophers, instead of purifying their activities, try to make everything 0 or void in all activities.

This lack of activity is represented by the trees and hills.

This is a kind of punishment inflicted by the laws of nature.

If we do not properly execute our mission in life and self-realization, nature's punishment will render us inactive by putting us in the form of trills, trees, and hills.

Therefore activities directed towards sense gratification are condemned herein.

1 who is constantly thinking of activities to earn money and gratify the senses is following a path which is suicidal.

Factually all human society is following this path.

Some way or other people are determined to earn money or get money by begging, borrowing or stealing and applying that to sense gratification.

Such civilization is the greatest obstacle in the path of self-realization.

Pandayam Sri Guru Sri Jatapalakam Sri Guru Vaishnavamsa Sri Rupam Sagarjatam Sahagana Raghunatham Vittamtam Sajivam Sadaitam Savadutam Parijana Sahitam Krishna Chaitanya devam sri radha krishna padam sahagana lalita shri visakhanda tamam.

Namah om vishnu padaya krishna prasadaya bhutale, shrimate bhakti vedanta svamane tinamane, namaste sarasvate deve golvani pachaline, ne vishesha shivanyavadi paschichadesa chaline.

So why are they so caught up in sense gratification 1 could ask?

If it's not beneficial, if it's harmful, if it binds 1 to take birth after birth after birth in this hellish nightmare of material existence, why in the world are they so attracted to sense gratification?

They think, aham me me, aham me meti, I am his body.

Everything in relation with his body is mine.

So they spend their whole lives with sense gratification, gratifying the tongue, the belly, the genitals, the false ego, gratify, gratify, gratify until the final moment.

They have so many nightclubs, so many cinemas, so many amusement parks, so many things simply to gratify the senses, gratify, gratify, gratify.

But it is not actually satisfying the self.

Even if you have the most intense gratification, millions and billions of times in this material world, it is nothing compared to the nectar, the taste in Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare.

So 1 can ask, well I am chanting Hare Krishna, why am I still attracted to Sanskritification?

If Channing Hare Krishna is so much better than Sanskritification, why does my mind keep going to Sanskritification?

We're not actually fully relishing the nature of the name because it's committing so many offenses against the name.

There are 10 kinds of offenses to be avoided.

The other is to defend the Vaishnava, the disobedient order of the spiritual master.

Consider the holy name to be some mundane sound vibration.

To take the holy name is some ritualistic activity for material sense gratification.

Chanting Hare Krishna because I want a job or I want a wife or I want a husband or I want some money.

So I chant Hare Krishna to fulfill my material desires.

We have to understand the purpose of the name is to awaken love of God within the heart, to bring it back to our original constitutional position of a loving relationship with Krishna, the source of all existence.

So we should generate Krishna in that mood.

Let me now come back to being who I actually am, the eternal servant of Krishna.

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

So we generate Krishna in that mood, sincerely begging Krishna to liberate us from all this hellish, nightmarish attachment to material sense gratification.

It may take some time, but let's say time and tide, let's see what is a good...

So we're trying something bigger than Rome.

Rome was a big capital of the world empire in those days.

Of course they didn't realize, we were misguided in our history classes, that Rome and Rome was the capital of the whole world, but no, India was the capital of the whole world and Rome never conquered India.

Then we become victimized by so many rascal thoughts.

We are still anchoring for sense gratification because we are not intent in our desire to become Krishna conscious.

So we have to turn up the volume, turn up the volume on our bhakti, max out the volume.

We have a problem nowadays, a discomfort.

Even though we should strictly follow the order of the spiritual master, they have a new philosophy that says, well, don't be too strict.

How are we going to attract anybody if we are too strict?

Prabhupada said clean shave but now the new standard is beard.

So instead of Hare Krishna's becoming Hare Krishna's.

And the other 1 is that the Prophet said sex is only for procreation, not for recreation.

New standard is recreational sex is okay, even if your wife has a little friend in bed, you know, recreational sex.

This is only going to kill the kids, it's okay.

I give the blessings of the spiritual master, my wife and I want to have a child, you bless us.

Then we wait for 4 to 6 days after the menstrual cycle, once a month.

We each chant 50 rounds of japa to purify, at least 50 rounds of japa to purify our consciousness and we try to bring a child into the world.

Krishna says, I am not sex life which is not contractual, it is principle.

This other thing is not sex, it's not Krishna.

Not Krishna, it's Maya, it's sense gratification.

So if we mix sense gratification into ISKCON, it's no longer ISKCON, it's MISKON.

How can I be happy if I don't have a little sense part of it?

Try to understand my dear listeners, you don't be happy by mixing in sense enjoyment.

Actually, sense enjoyment makes you miserable.

Sense enjoyment, sex enjoyment, this tendency to enjoy our senses is what makes us miserable.

Because it brings us back into bodily misidentification.

I realize I am not this material body, I am an eternal spirit for being, qualitatively 1 with the Supreme Lord, then my only happiness is to get back in that pure loving reciprocation with Krishna.

Krishna is actually present, He is fully present.

Not that he is absent 5000 years ago if I have been lucky and got to see him.

But no, Krishna is here right here right now in front of the deity, in front of the holy name, in front of the instructions, the sound vibration, Hare Krishna.

Krishna is present with us right here, right now, but we don't want to be purely engaged in love and reciprocation with him, who makes sense gratification for some so-called happiness.

So for the devotee, instead of so-called happiness, it is so-called material bondage.

Material bondage is not even an issue anymore.

When you become fully absorbed in loving reciprocation with Krishna, you are actually living not here on the planet earth, you live not here in the, what is that, the universe of Lord Brahma, what's it called?

So yeah, the four-headed Brahma, Chaturmukhi Brahma Loka.

You are not living in Chaturmukhi Brahma Loka either, the four-headed Brahma.

There is Brahmins of 40 heads, 400 heads, 4000 heads, 40000 heads, because they have such a bigger universe that they can keep their eyes on everything.

No, Brahma Loka is actually named for the spiritual world.

Brahma is on the planet Brahma, located within this universe.

This is the universe of the 4 headed Brahma.

We are not living in this Jagat, we are not living in the material world, the Uparavyoma is the Paravyoma and the Uparavyoma.

The spiritual sky is Paravyoma, the material world is the Uparavyoma, the material sky, which is 1 fourth portion of the whole creation.

We are not living in the material world at all.

When you get back in Krishna Kanya, you are living right now, you are right there with Krishna.

So we should stop cheating ourselves or running after just a little sense of enjoyment.

Come on, give me a little slack Gurudev, a little sense of enjoyment please.

Let me have a little enjoyment, I mean come on.

Let me have a little sense of gratification.

Let me have a little sense gratification.

Come on Gurudeva, come on Prabhupada, let me have a little sense gratification.

He says no, you must strictly follow the instructions given by Krishna.

Strictly follow, Because the more you restrict, the more you cut away the influence of material energy and the more you become elevated to the transcendental platform beyond the cycle of birth and death.

You come out being squeezed a little tube.

Does any child come out laughing and smiling?

The babies are being, I've never seen a birth, but Papa can understand.

Does any baby come out smiling going, Oh, 0.

Now they come out screaming horror, there's horrible pain coming out of the wounds.

And death, people are so afraid of death.

Horrible things, like the other day, 1 lady was doing free, she was climbing a mountain somewhere out there in Western United States and the free climb no no safety things is the gold a free climb and she fell 400 feet can you imagine what she felt he she's falling 400 feet to the earth, she's conscious, screaming and tuttling, anxiety, noise, she's going to hit the gun and smash to death.

She's going to have that last few seconds falling 400 feet.

But a hellish nightmare death is for all of us actually.

My whole conception of who I am is based on me.

We're totally caught up in this bodily conga.

Yamaraja comes and says, okay, you rascal, for all your sinful activities, I'm going to take you to Yama Loka and punish you for all your sinful activities.

The hellish position to be in, the very hellish nightmare to die in.

And whether it's because I'm getting sick, you know, getting COVID or getting, you know, going, you have to wear hearing aids and glasses or, you know, wheelchair or crutches or a cane, 1 thing after another, you go to the doctor, got a toothache, got your tooth pulled, it's 1 thing after another, after another, after another.

And then old age, oh my God, Pablo was talking about old age the other day, rheumatism, high blood pressure.

Pablo was talking about, he was experiencing it himself, old age, talking about how hellish it is in old age.

Because all these things we have to go through again and again and again for millions and millions of lifetimes.

Why she would be attached to going through this again and again by taking sense gratification as a goal of my existence.

Don't you realize how asinine, how stupid it is to take the goal of my existence as a sense gratification?

The tongue, the belly, the genitals, the false ego, come on, give me some gratification.

When are you going to come out of this desire for sense gratification?

Get out of your desire for sense gratification.

You can get away from me and never come even close to me ever again.

That is my only desire to please my beloved spiritual master and to please my beloved Lord Krishna.

That is my only desire from now on for all of eternity to please my beloved Guru Maharaj, my beloved Lord Caitanya, my beloved Bhadra and Krishna.

So why are we still attached to sense gratification?

Even though we know better, our mind keeps going back.

You give maya an inch, you take a whole maya.

You tell yourself, Nishtiya Lati Mam Nishtiya Nishtiya Lama Svaram Tattva Sattva Daya Ya Tat Tat.

No matter what you get, from whatever, wherever the mind wanders, it's flickering and it's still in nature.

1 must only withdraw it and bring it back under the control of the self.

Bhagavad Gita 2.62.63 Dayato viśayoṁ puṁ saṁ saṅgat teṣa-pajāyate saṅgat saṅdayate kāmā kāmā grado viśāyate krodha-bhavati saṁmāḥ saṁmāt smṛti-vigma-māḥ smṛti-vaṁśad-vadī-naśo bhūlinaśad-praṇāśyati while contemplating the objects of the senses.

It's okay, a little thought of sense enjoyment is okay.

I can think about it a little bit, get a little subtle sense pleasure by meditating on sense enjoyment.

But you know, you give my an inch, you take a mile, you think about it, you think about it and you think you feel like, you think about sense gratification and then you feel like having sense gratification then you make a decision yes I will have sense gratification and then you do it and then bloop you fall down again to the materials.

So we have to nip it in the bud, don't think about enjoying sense gratification, don't even think about it, Even for a second don't think about it.

Train your mind not to meditate on sense enjoyment.

Bajau hu re mao, shri nanda nanda na, avaya charanara.

My dear mind, you My dear mind, your only business now is to think about the devotional service of the Nanda Mandala, the divine son of Nanda Maharaj.

My mind, your only business now is to think how to please that divine son of Nanda Maharaj.

You have no other business to enjoy this or that or this or that.

Your only business is how can I give pleasure to my beloved son of Nanda Maharaj?

I have no other business now on for all of eternity.

I'm not going to go after anything else now for all of eternity except to please that divine son of Nanda Maharaj.

You say, well that's impossible Gurudeva.

How can I come to the position of pure devotional service?

Remember little Sparrow, she's our Sixth Year Guru.

She wanted to dry up the ocean because the ocean is still an egg, but she was determined, now I'm going to get my egg back, I'm going to dry up that ocean.

So you may have a whole ocean of material desires in your heart.

You may have a whole ocean, you may be tortured by a whole ocean of material desires in your heart.

Just remember a little sparrow becomes a father of a little sparrow.

I am going to dry up that ocean of material desires.

I have unlimited desires for sense gratification.

This desire, that desire, so many desires, millions, I have an ocean of desires flooding my heart right now.

I am going to have 1 desire only from now on, and that is to be the pure devotee of the divine son of Namah, nothing else.

I have no other, I kick everything else out, that will make me only business from now for all eternity.

I don't care what anybody says, I don't care what anybody thinks, I don't care what I say or I think, I am in maya, my only desire now is to kick out all this garbage, this lust, this anger, this greed, this madness, delusion, envy.

What's the advantage of doing this, 1 could ask.

Well you get to go back to Godhead, but even while you're here, there's a great benefit to becoming pure.

Vat sho vegam manesatrodha vegam, jiva vegam mudarokas pa vegam, etam vitam yo vishahit padira, sadram upimim vratishim jishisha.

1 who can conquer mind, words, anger, tongue, belly and genitals, can make disciples all over the world.

You know what Rabbi Tov Jai wrote in 1 of his verses?

So not only you go back to God, you can do great service.

Such a person can actually make a whole world of disciples, Prabhupada.

I can only mind, words, anger, tongue, belly and genitals.

My anger can only be to be angry at those who are offensive towards Krishna.

My tongue can only be for tasting prasadam and abiding naturally.

Only if I am married I have to make my wife pregnant in accordance with this principle.

Otherwise, my genitals should never pass any semen at all.

Actually, the more you can withhold semen you have a longer life.

The trouble is here in the western world, we are talking about semen, it is thought to be a natural thing, you are supposed to pass semen as much as you want, as much as you can, that's the philosophy in America.

The more you can withhold semen, you have a longer life.

Just like there are yogis who withhold semen, they can live for hundreds of years by withholding their semen.

Those who patent the prophecy, the more you pass semen, you are calling a horrible, horrible sudden death.

You want to live long, withhold the semen.

If you're an outsider, don't have a recreational sex, if you're a barmacheri or a bonaparte or a financier, of course, don't pass any semen.

Genitals are only for passing urine and nothing else.

So in this way we bring our sins under control.

God I have no, kick out all desires that sends gratification.

My only business is to become a Krishna's pure devotee.

When you become an empowered preacher you can have a tremendous uplifting impact on this world which is completely screwed up right now.

Actually our duty, Baba gave us the assignment, we were only Europeans and Americans in those days.
