The heart is the center of all kinds of plans for material enjoyment.

Well, that's where the actual atma is situated.

The consciousness actually is there within the heart.

That's the seed of the consciousness, the symptom of the soul of consciousness.

The soul that's situated within the material heart of the body, so that's where consciousness is beginning from.

That's the source of the consciousness from the atma within the heart.

So, there's 2 kinds of consciousness, material consciousness and spiritual consciousness.

It's not that in material life 1 becomes dead or dead stone or unconscious, nor in the spiritual life, as the voidists say.

You enter into a state of unconsciousness, merging into the void.

So we have to study the difference between being spiritually conscious and materially conscious.

As we've been many times explaining, in material consciousness you experience temper, virality, ignorance, and misery.

And in spiritual consciousness you experience eternal knowledge bliss.

1 can ask why is there eternal knowledge bliss in the spiritual side?

Well, that's because their quality is in the Lord.

Eesha Panna, Panna Maha, Krishna, Satya Nanda Vigraha, Nadeer, Nadeer, Govinda, Sarva, Karana, Karana.

That Supreme Person, Supreme Personality of God, Krishna, the Charter of Knowledge and Bliss, that's His nature, and He's the cause of all causes.

So, since we have the free, qualitatively water, that Supreme Lord being His part and parcel, as I explained, just a drop of ocean water is qualitatively 1 of the entire ocean.

You will find the same variety, the same portion of chemicals in the entire ocean that you find in the drop.

So the drop is a sample of the entire ocean.

In other words, you can study, a scientist can study the percentage of chemicals throughout the entire ocean by studying 1 drop.

Take a little drop in your laboratory, into that 1 laboratory analysis, you can understand the chemical composition of the entire ocean.

So in the same way, the drop is qualitatively 1 with the entire ocean.

We being part and parcel, like the drop compared to the ocean, we being part and parcel of the fish and the air, qualitatively 1 with the world.

So just by studying our own actual spiritual natures, we can understand about the Supreme Spirit, the Supreme.

Of course, right now we do not have the instruments to study our own spiritual natures because we're blinded by ignorance.

So we can't actually understand our internal natures, but we can understand a little bit.

Just like why do people not want to die, for example?

Every day you get up, you do this, that's a natural thing.

That's why we don't want to die, because actually we don't die.

Therefore, by our intent, we can understand that the soul exists because we have a nature not wanting to die.

We can say, my dear atheist, since death is natural, Why do you not want to die?

Can you explain anything, my dear atheist friend?

Why you don't want to die if death is natural?

And if I decide to live forever, he's actually proving that he doesn't die, doesn't he?

So even the atheist is defeated at this point.

The atheist wants to also live forever, even though he materially doesn't live forever.

If I'm only this body, then why would I live forever?

It's like Dajja Katasvi told Prabhupada in the month of Swamiji.

When this body is finished, everything is finished.

But yet Dajja Katasvi, he wants the loss of what the living is.

So it's time to be a little logical and scientific about everything instead of being blind followers of this dogmatic atheistic philosophy.

They say you shouldn't be dogmatic, you should be scientific.

So let's actually study things very carefully and scientifically analyze things intelligently.

And by doing that we can actually see the soul.

So then, if we are spiritual beings who live forever, how we can have and revive that identity?

Because right now, I'm identifying with something which is temporary, full of ignorance and misery.

What's the system with the technique for reviving that spiritual identity?

Well, that's called Krishna consciousness or bhakti yoga, the system of reviving that actual identity with the average of the actual nature of the self.

So in other words Krishna consciousness is not an artificial imposition of the mind, it's awakening the original natural energy of the living being.

We're not trying to impose anything on you here in the Hare Krishna movement.

We're here to remove all those things that have been imposed upon you.

It's artificial, unnatural, not in harmony with your actual identity.

We want to get you back harmonizing with your actual identity, with the actual source of all existence.

They say well it all came out of nothing.

But you can always get something out of something.

We can always get something out of something.

You get a drop of water out of the ocean.

You can get a leaf from a tree, we can always get something from something.

You can get steel and urine out of the body, we can always get something out of something.

But we never experience nothing out of nothing.

So why should we accept this blind faith dogma that everything came out of nothing.

Scientific, everything comes from something.

And that something came from something, and that something came from something.

So if you go back, You take that line of causality and you go back to the original something from which everything has come, then you find God or Krishna, the source.

Aham sarva shri parivoham matak sarva parivartiti.

They argue, well, I don't accept it as the original source.

They say, well, actually there's an infinite chain of causality.

Something came from something which came from something which came from something.

An infinite chain of causality, that's their argument.

No, it just goes on ad infinitum into eternity.

Well that's also going to be defeated very easily.

The domino argument defeats the incident side of causality argument.

You have all the dominoes lined up and 1 domino pushed over and talks to another 1, and it goes down the line.

So They say, in other words, there's an infinite line of dominoes.

But wait a minute, my dear domino theorizer.

have an infinite chain of dominoes that are just standing there?

There has to be 1 domino that can fall over on its own without another domino pushing it for the whole chain to happen.

You can't have a chain of causality if there's not somewhere in the chain that starts off the whole reaction.

So we can understand logically and philosophically there has to be a cause, sarva karana karanam, there has to be a cause of all causes.

This chain of causality cannot go into infinity.

There has to be somewhere along the line where 1 denominator falls on its own.

So we really look at this thing intelligently and philosophically.

We see that Krishna-karni is not a blind faith.

As we many times explain, Religion without philosophy is sentiment and sometimes fanaticism.

And philosophy without religion is mental speculation.

So the science of God is the combination of philosophy and religion.

You combine them and you have the science of God.

So, our dear listeners, Please try to understand the way we're talking about it.

How you can understand your own identity and how you can percept your identity.

Say, well, I don't really understand my identity.

I just want to eat, sleep, mate and descend.

What's the use of enjoying your eating, sleeping, mating and ascending when the whole thing is going to crash down to death when you actually have a desire to live forever?

Why not find out a way you can always be happy?

Why do you want to go after temporary happiness and reject the idea of eternal happiness?

No, intelligently you should say there's some eternal happiness.

So with Krishna consciousness, those people are actually intelligent.

They want to distinguish between temporary happiness and eternal happiness.

And another way of looking at it is this, temporary happiness is really happiness.

Is temporary happiness actually happiness?

The scriptures tell us no, it's not really happiness.

If I'm enjoying, but I know that enjoyment's gonna come to an end, that enjoyment is tinned with the anxiety of know it's gonna end.

If my happiness is going to come to an end, then I can't believe for the enjoyment because I know it's going to end.

So, happiness means that happiness is not a promise or a common action.

You Christian about the dimension of the key, whether it is a spiritual master or a spiritual master, it's their way to you.

The spiritual master is necessary to unlock the key to you.

The Spiritual Master unlocks and helps you.

It's like you're in a house and you can't open the door.

But then some person comes in here and says, Oh, I had to see the unlocked door.

So it's very essential to have a spiritual master.

There's enough monkeys already in Vrindavan, Prabhupada, and jumping over the branches.

So don't become another monkey in Vrindavan trying to jump over the branches.

Don't try to jump over the head of the spiritual master.

Take the spiritual master as your every one's wishers.

Take the spiritual master as your everywhere wishers.
