In this material world, a householder's life brings all kinds of happiness in religion, economic development, sense gratification, and the beginning of children, sons, and grandsons.

After that, 1 may desire liberation as well as material reputation.

The householder can appreciate the results of sacrifices which enable him to gain promotion superior planetary systems.

All this material happiness is currently unknown to transcendentalists.

Those poor Hare Krishnas, they're missing out.

The transcendentalists don't know what they're missing.

We're having this wonderful fun in household life.

These poor transcendentalists, the Brahmacharis, the Nasi, the Vanapasas, they're missing out on the nectar.

According to Vedic instructions, there are 2 paths for human activities.

1 of them is called Pṛvittimārga and the other is called Nivṛttimārga.

It's a basic principle for either of these past religious lives.

In the animal life there is only Pervitimarg.

Pervitimarg means sense enjoyment and Nivritimarg means spiritual advancement.

In the lives of animals and demons there is no conception of Nivritimarg nor is there any actual conception of Vrvittimarg.

Vrvittimarg maintains that even though 1 has to have the propensity to sense the objectation, 1 can gratify his sense according to the directions of the Vedic injunctions.

For example, everyone has the propensity for sex life, but in the demoniac civilization, sex was enjoyed without restriction.

According to Vedic culture, sex was enjoyed under Vedic instructions.

Thus, the Vedas give direction to civilized human beings to engage them to satisfy their penitence for sense gratification.

In the Vrvittimara, however, in the path of frat and other realizations, sex is completely forbidden.

The spiritual orders are divided into 4 parts, vriyarambamacharya, grihastha, manaprastha, sannyas.

Not only in the house that are alive can the pravittimarg be encouraged and accepted according to Vedic injunctions.

In the orders of brahmacharya, manaprastha, sannyas, there is no facilities for sex.

In this verse, the woman is advocating pravittimarg only and is discouraging the path of pravittimarg.

She clearly says that the Yati, transcendentalists who are concerned only with spiritual life, Kavalya, cannot imagine the happiness of a Vibhuti Marga.

In other words, the man who follows the Vedic principles enjoys the materialistic way of life, not only by becoming happy in this life, but also in the next life of being voted the heavenly planets.

In this life, such a person gives all kinds of material opulence, such as sons and grandsons, because he is always engaged in various religious functions.

The material is stressed as birth, death, old age, and disease, but those who are in it in the 50-mark hold various religious functions at the time of birth, old age, disease and death.

Without caring for the stresses of birth, old age, disease and death, they are addicted to performing the spiritual functions according to Vedic ritualistic ceremonies.

Facts, however, the Vedic language is based on sex life.

As stated in Srimad Bhagavatam 7, 9, 45, Yama chanadi ghrihimedi sukham ituk cham.

A house daughter who is too much addicted to a visiting mara is actually called a Ghrimamedi, not a Ghastha.

Although a Ghastha desires sense gratification, he acts according to Vedic instructions.

The Grinjamedi, however, who is only interested in sense gratification, does not follow any Vedic instructions.

The Grinjamedi engages himself in adequate sense life and also allows his sons and daughters to engage in sex.

I just heard a conversation with Prabhupada on the walk.

He was saying nowadays in the schools and colleges they give the girls contraceptive pills to encourage them to have sex.

And he also said the parents say to tell the daughters don't have sex with this man and this man and this 1.

When you find them in your life, you get married.

The grimmady engages himself as an advocate of sex life and also engages his sons and daughters to engage in sex, and be provided any of the glories in life.

A good husband enjoys sex life in this life as well as in the next, but a Greenham A.D.

Does not know what the next life is about because he is simply interested in sex.

In this life, on the whole, when 1 is too much inclined toward sex, he does not care for the transcendental spiritual life.

In this age of Kali especially, no 1 is interested in spiritual advancement, even though it is sometimes found that when he is innocent in spiritual advancement, he is most likely to accept a bogus method of spiritual life being misguided by so many pretensions.

You may get a thrill of your senses, but the result is very cheap thrills.

Some so-called sense pleasure, even the demigods are innocent in it.

We want to get out of this cycle of birth and death.

As we often hear in the Bhagavad Gita, vishaya vini-vartante niraha rashi deyina.

Varsha vacham visho piyasat parang vishini vartante.

The embodied soul may be restricted in sense and joined to the taste of sense, obvious and vain, but facing such engagements by what?

They were cooked because of it, isn't it?

By experiencing a higher taste, but it is a decision that is now fixed in consciousness.

In the Bhagavad Gita 2.41, yam asayat mako buddhi ar eke akur, nandana bhuv shakah janantashita buddhi yobhiyasayanam.

For those on this path, they're resolute in purpose and their aim is 1, a cup.

They're not interested in the mini-branched intelligence.

Those on the Pervitim are interested in the mini-branched intelligence.

Where can I find a woman for sexual intercourse, or where can I scheme and scam to rip off some people and get a lot of money, you see?

They're using intelligence for all these things, material sense gratification.

This sense gratification, that sense gratification, this and that, this and that, they never find any satisfaction.

No matter how much they get successful at gratifying their senses, the bottom line is they're not satisfied.

They try this, they try that, they try this, they try that, but the bottom line is no satisfaction.

You come to the position of the regular determination, who fix their minds on the lotus feet of the Supreme Lord, you see.

Why is it you become satisfied with Krishna and not with this sex, money and drugs?

So here we are like fish meant to be in the water, but we're trying to be happy on the land.

By building a nice mansion in the house, a nice mansion with all kinds of facilities, a pool room and so many things.

Not a swimming pool, but they play this game called pool.

Try to make a nice facility in a speed car garage, have a nice Rolls Royce and maybe a Mercedes in the garage and get it really nicely situated.

They cannot be happy because that is not their nature.

The nature of the Jivaarasa Rupai Krishna and Nitya Das.

We have to get out of this position of misidentification.

We have to understand what is the actual position.

If Krishna confirms, nispey vaham yaktana sanghna kamene janadhi vannachayi banam nishchayi sarvam vatahat param.

Never was there a time that I didn't exist.

To get off this platform of the mind, words, tongue, belly, and genitals.

It's not favorable to misidentify your body.

You have to get off this platform of bodily misidentification.

Get off this platform of bodily misidentification.

It's like taking a knife and cutting your own throat.

So stop misidentifying with this lusty, angry, greedy bag of stool and urine.

Get off of this ridiculous platform and come to the Transcendental Platform.

I can actually relish the name of Krishna.

I say, just at least 1 time, taste that nectar of Hare Krishna.

Hare Krishna, Krishna, Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama,

1 time if you can get intoxicated by that name, all material desires will fly right out the window.

Let me get Bhakti Noor says, just once take the nectar.

Let me take Bhakti Noor's advice and try to actually taste the nectar of Krishna's name.

Go to the park and get a cigarette and try it.

Now 1 cigarette led to becoming a total nicotine addict, isn't it?

They don't start with 1 or 2 packs a day.

Does any of these cigarette addicts start with 1 or 2 packs a day?

And that's making a whole pack of, no, 16, 16 packs.

A whole pack of cigarettes, a whole pack of Harinās.

Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare, Hare Yāma, Hare Yāma, Hare Yāma, Hare Yāma.

We follow the example of the cigarette addicts.

They're addicted to cigarettes, they don't become addicted to all of them.

Now you keep chanting and you become a Haryana addict.

Keep chanting and you become a Haryana addict.

You see, an addict, 1 of my disciples, he's trying to bake his nicotine and he's having a very difficult time, but actually you've come to the point where you can't live without Harinam.

You can't live without thinking of Krishna.

In Prabhupada, there's a very interesting quote from Prabhupada.

He said, we don't care if he's a god or not, we just love him.

We don't care who he is, we just love that boy.

His activities, his qualities, his pastimes, his paraphernalia.

She was rising, her Gopi girlfriend, so I can remember this stuff.

______ ______ ______ My dear Gopi girlfriend.

My dear gope girlfriend, if you have any desire to enjoy society, friendship and love in this world, then don't you dare go to the bank of the moon that Kashi got tonight.

Because this boy named Krishna, he's also called Govinda, and his eyes are very enchanting.

He's playing on his flute, he's got a peacock feather in his head, and his body is very beautifully illuminated by the moonlight in the sky.

So all that gopi, running, running, oh, sounds pretty good.

The young girls are attracted to the boys, right?

So there's a boy there, very beautiful, playing the flute.

In this way, actually, they all came out of lust, but they actually became all pure devotees.

In the highest level of pure devotees, the gopis.

Totally, totally madly in love with Krishna, actually.

They can't live without Krishna for a minute even when he goes to the forest with the coward boys.

They're totally in the mood of separation.

By meditation they're actually associating them as much as they were associating them at night during the Rasa Dant.

Even by meditation they are associating them with Krishna.

So Prabhupada said we should develop this mood of separation.

Now that we think of gopis, we should have that mood.

We should worship that mood of feeling separation from Krishna.

It's very interesting to note that even George Harrison put that same mood into his hit song, My Sweet Lord.

The same mood in the George Harrison's mega hit, My Dear Lord, I Really Want to See You, I Really Want to Be You, but It Takes So Long.

The same mood in Separation, George Harrison's putting a knife on my finger.

I really want to be you, I really want to see you, but It takes so long, my Lord.

I want to be a peer to the other thing that takes me so long.

I'm going through such a struggle, this hankering.

Bhagyananda is saying, how they both say anymore, when will that day be mine?

When I get rid of all this lust, this anger, this greed, this man's illusion, all this crud, this stool and urine in my consciousness, when will I actually become mad after God?

See, on the bank of the Muna, is He lifting the govindan?

This intensity of desire has to awaken in our hearts.

So That's what it's all about, Krishna consciousness.

Even when you look at the sky, you'll remember Krishna.

Prabhupada said the blue sky is the same color as Krishna.

The same color as Krishna, Prabhupada said.

Someone said, but no, he's the dark blue.

Someone argued with Prabhupada, but no, Prabhupada said, yes, the blue sky is the color of Krishna.

And I head out pretty soon to the airport.

So that's the way they want Krishna to serve them.

We are interested in liberty, my Lord, and how I can serve Krishna.

So then Krishna, what you give me, how can I give you, my Lord?

But as night for all beings, the time awakening for the self-control and the time awakening for all beings is night for the introspective sage.

Everything, actually, our philosophy is so powerful, you can relate anything with everything.

It's so powerful, you may not directly, but you can, this philosophy is so transcendent you can take any act of this philosophy and relate it to all the other aspects.

Because Like any part of Krishna, I can relate to every other part of Krishna.

Just like with any part of Krishna, he can manifest unlimited universes.

His toenail with the tip of the hair on his head.

Every part is totally in...you can hear with his eyes and see with his ears also.

Every part of Krishna is completely, totally interchangeable.

So in this way, similar way, all this philosophy is actually Krishna manifesting.

So you can relate any part of the philosophy with any other part of the philosophy.

It's a matter of philosophical understanding.

Allison keeps saying she's waiting for initiation.

Again, Allison, I appreciate your determination, but You have to be recommended.

Recently you gave me a bogus recommendation letter.

You sent me a bogus recommendation letter.

So it looks like you have to wait for a while.

You have to develop a quality of honesty about the analysis.

You actually lied to your spiritual master, sending him a bogus recommendation letter, I appreciate your determination, but now you've developed honesty.

Your dishonesty is disqualified, you've qualified yourself quite some time to be honest with you.

I'm being honest with you, Your dishonesty has disqualified you for some time, but I appreciate your determination.

Keep your determination and develop a quality of honesty.

And if you do that, your initiation will definitely come.

You have to develop honesty, not lying to your spiritual master.

So we know that in the material world there is no permanent happiness.

But still the example given by your Grace is about the cigarette, that how 1 becomes a cigarette.

Because of the addiction, it gets increased and increased.

Wherein we are chanting 16 rounds every day.

But I see that even though we are chanting 16 rounds, but there is not that permanent happiness.
